There are always music festivals or concerts right around the corner, especially here in Los Angeles! The biggest problem? What to wear to stand out among the crowd of fashionable concert goers. This is our guide on how to look festival chic.
First: pick a flowy bohemian dress that will help you beat the heat. We always love to show a little shoulder. (Left: Savannah Shoulder Show-off Dress in Ivory, Right: Cadence Cold Shoulder Dress in Navy)
Second: pair it with the perfect festival hat and bag!
These are some concerts in LA we will definitely be attending:
August 7th – Sundance Nextfest
This festival is a full weekend of film and music. Nextfest is the perfect place to get an insider look at growing indie artists and upcoming films. The event even kicks off with a screening at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on August 2nd (the weekend before). August 7th-9th there are six films premiering and they will be paired with a special musical performance from artists like Neon Indian!
August 8th – Low End Theory Fest
If you are looking to find up and coming LA artists this event is the one to attend! Low End Theory Fest is crowded with talented LA music producers and DJ's. From producing workshops to an amazing lineup, this event will not be one to miss.
August 15th-16th – Echo Park Rising (free!)
Who doesn't love a free concert? This weekend festival takes place all over Echo Park in venues like the iconic Echoplex and there will be music, art, and food all over the city. Count us in! If you can't wait to here all of the tunes, check out their playlist on Spotify.
August 22-23 – FYF Fest
We have been counting down the days to FYF! This LA music festival has four stages and a killer lineup including none other than Flume, Morrissey, and Frank Ocean. It will also be a great place to spot some LA festival style. Keep an eye out for Bailey Blue!
Sept 27th – Abbot Kinney Fest
Last but not least is Abbot Kinney Fest. From free entrance and beer gardens to live music, this seaside festival has the perfect SoCal vibes. Not to mention some of the best food trucks in California. See you all there!
