A Central Coast Road Trip September 11, 2015 17:19

This last weekend we took a little road trip up the coast to a few of our favorite spots and of course we had to share! Just three hours North of LA, the scenery completely changes into a peaceful and breathtaking coastline away from all the chaos of the city. It's the perfect place to relax, recharge, and reflect. Our weekend outfits were inspired by the casual laid back vibes of the places we stopped in.

Our First Stop: Big Sur

Big Sur is a magical place with tons of hiking, camping, and quiet beaches. The cliffs drop off right next to the road and there are breathtaking views for miles and miles. With little cell reception and miles of trails, it is the perfect place to get lost in the nature.

Stop #2: Morro Bay

Heading south from Big Sur, we stopped in Morro Bay to enjoy the sunset. From kayaking to biking along the bay there are endless ways to spend your hours. Surfers crowd the right side of the rock, while beach goers enjoy the afternoon sun.

Stop #3: Montana de Oro

A few miles south of Morro Bay you hit another state park that is perfect for some more exploring. We packed up a picnic, threw on some beachy Bailey Blue dresses, and headed for the sand!

Stop #4: Scout Coffee in San Luis Obispo

Our final stop, Scout Coffee, is the perfect little coffee shop to grab some caffeine for the drive home. From tea lattes to delicious espressos this Coffee Shop is just one of the many cozy spots of San Luis Obispo, CA.

What We Wore:

Embracing the last of the summer heat we packed the Sunny Stunner X-back Dress and the Payton Paisley Chiffon Dress. These flowy silhouettes were just what we needed for our weekend adventures.
