LA Adventures #2 - The Broad Museum November 23, 2015 12:22

We can't help, but get very excited when new things open in LA! This Fall The Broad art museum opened to the public in the heart of downtown, housing over 2,000 contemporary art pieces from Koons balloon sculptures to pieces by Andy Warhol. And on top of that, entrance to the museum is free! All you have to do is reserve your tickets online a couple months in advance. We are currently waiting to visit and explore the incredible art collection, but couldn't help ourselves from sharing some of the collection and what we will be wearing!

The museum located on the corner of South Grand and 2nd Street cost $140 million to build. The building and art collection it houses are a generous gift to Los Angeles community from Eli and Edythe Broad.

One of the iconic artists it houses is Jeff Koons, famous mainly for his giant balloon like sculptures, including the Balloon Dog.

What We Will Be Wearing:

Museum exploring requires comfortable shoes, warm layers, and a chic, yet casual dress! Our perfect little dress for this occasion is the... Case of the Greys Mockneck Dress. See our full outfit below:

Mock Neck Dress Grey

This grey and black mock neck dress has a fun, classy cut, vibrant pattern, and flirty skirt.

Black Sweater

Black open sweaters are always the perfect thing to bring along, especially since art museums always tend to be a bit chilly! This simple Belted Open Front Cardigan from Forever 21 has a great little belt to accentuate your waistline over a dress or can be worn open to show off your full outfit.

Asos Booties

You can never go wrong with a classic black heeled bootie like this pair from Asos! These Pointed Chelsea Ankle Boots can be paired with almost any fall dress or date night look.
