LA Adventures #3 - The Brunch Bucket List November 23, 2015 16:05

One of our favorite weekend activities is Sunday brunch! From delicious sweet treats to mimosas, brunch is that one weekly meal we can never skip and we make it our mission to try a new place every weekend. Here are a few of our current favorites and what we wore brunching:

Messhall Kitchen

Messhall kitchen is a one of a kind brunch, lunch, and dinner hot spot with a laid back campside vibe. With a cozy, earthy atmosphere, fire pit tables, and friendly service, this place is one of our favorite local brunch spots. On the corner of Hillhurst and Los Feliz Blvd this spot is also walking distance from lots of fun activities like hiking in Griffith Park. From delicious seasonal breakfasts like pumpkin pancakes to the more traditional egg breakfast, Messhall has it all down. Not to mention, they have an amazing cappuccino. And we definitely recommend you ask to sit around one of the fires to enjoy your delicious brunch grub!

Sycamore Kitchen

Sycamore Kitchen is home to some of our favorite pastries in LA! While the wait may be long, it is well worth waiting for chef Karen Hatfields salted carmel sticky pecan babka. The gorgeous open atmosphere is a perfect mix of rustic and modern and if you ask for a seat on the outdoor patio, you will not regret it!

Cliff's Edge

Entering the back patio of Cliff's Edge, LA is totally forgotten. Tables and chairs are tucked among large shady trees creating a unique tree house atmosphere. The food is beyond delicious, we tried the lemon ricotta pancakes (yum!). We are no doubt going back to try more of the menu!

What We Wore:

Embracing fall, we wore our burgundy Lea Lucky Lace Dress! This flowy bohemian silhouette is the perfect little brunch number with lace detail, airy sleeves, and a cinched string tie waist.

We paired the Lea Lucky Lace dress with some simple brown booties from Asos. We love the casual wood heel on this pair!

Then we topped the whole outfit off with a fringe statement purse from Nordstrom. This little crossbody bag adds just the right amount of fringe detail to the outfit!
